Many trace their lineage to the Solomonic Empire, rooted in the union of King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba. Though the Bible is silent on their marriage, African and Middle Eastern texts support it. Their son, Menelik I, became a powerful ruler. This book follows their descendants in 1617 as they led 2,700 warriors against 20,000 European troops to end the Atlantic Slave Trade.
