A group of standards setters in food and agriculture are collaborating to develop an open global registry to recognise the contribution of millions of farmers and small agricultural businesses to the world’s systems.The United Nations Global Compact and its partners are currently engaging with over 2million farmers and agricultural businesses across 120 countries. Farmers will now have an opportunity to be recognised globally, with better access to the global supply chains, markets and ecosystems.
