GlobalFest Moves Big, Goes Bolder | Calgary News

GlobalFest is roaring back bigger and bolder this year, relocating to Spruce Meadows for a massive upgrade — think record-breaking fireworks, Alberta’s largest drone show, celebrity chefs crafting global dishes, and a food truck showdown. Beyond the spectacle: Japanese supercars, sumo wrestlers, a night market, and even a speakeasy. Attendees get real bathrooms and AC instead of tents in the heat. Future plans include a lake to reflect the fireworks — a nod to past favorites. Opening night features a citizenship ceremony welcoming 50 new Canadians and Grey Cup photo ops. Doors open at 5 PM — don’t miss the 9 PM fireworks and drones. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
