Globetrottin' ADs - S2E15 - International Womens Day

from The Globetrottin' ADs · host Globetrottin' ADs

On this episode of the Globetrottin’ ADs we welcome a fantastic Athletic Director from the Philippines, Catherine Tanco-Ong. Kathy is on the NIAAA international committee with Nick and Matt and has also brought speakers over from the US for the annual EARCOS conference. After getting to know Kathy we talk about her role as a female in a male dominated profession. With International Women's Day on the horizon it was a great excuse to have Kathy talk about what it is like for her, share some tips for future ADs and what she thinks about having female coaches for female teams. Getting to the topic at hand, Kathy talks about how COVID is affecting education and life in the Philippines then about some of the amazing things there are to see and do once things get back to normal. Wrapping up the episode Matt and Nick remind listeners about Global Take on School Rubric and the upcoming CEESA Conference.
