Glory and Blessing

Many times we have heard it said that one of the biggest mistakes we can make is to seek God's hand rather than seek His face. We certainly need to guard against greed and selfishness, and we certainly need to be focused on the glory of God. There is a danger, though, of falling into the trap of believing that God does not delight in blessing us because He loves us. Let's take a look at one of the true heroes of the Old Testament, and see if we can learn a little about glory and blessing from the story of David and Goliath. Hosted on Acast.
