glory revealed - the fish ain't bitin - Will Hamilton

Our series, “Glory Revealed,”continues, in this season of Epiphany, with a message from Purpose Worship’s very own, Will Hamilton titled, The Fish ain’t bitin’.  He uses the text from Mark 1:14-17, when Jesus was calling his disciples to come and follow him.  Will shares a wonderful story of growing up in East Tennessee and his own “fishing boat” to help in illustrating the meaning of glory.  He uses examples from his own experience of becoming self-reliant in response to circumstances in his life, pursuing glory for attention. Will teaches about the pitfalls of counterfeit glory, such as things we acquire, things we accomplish, career, spouse, kids, and social media.  He also said, “You can’t expect to see the full glory revealed when you are living under a glorified version of yourself.” The questions this week are where are you trying to find glory and what happens when those things fail you?  The message concludes with the reassurance that we are His masterpiece.
