GNNEpi#151 - "Movements: Pioneering New Movements in India", part 2

from CalCast | Create International Podcast Network · host Cal & Carol | Podcast Hosts

"Movements: Pioneering New Movements in India", part 2 continues our series on one of the most exciting topics in missions today, Movements. In this episode Bruce Carlson shares his experiences pioneering movements in India. He also gives us examples of indigenous movement leaders who saw explosive growth of multiplying fellowships as they applied movement principles to their existing church planting work. “Church Planting Movements” or “Disciple Making Movements” are phrases that describe a multiplying movement of churches which result in exponential church growth. The basic requirement to qualifying as a CPM or DMM is that your churches have multiplied themselves to the fourth generation or more, (The first church births a new church, that church then births a new church, and so on). A new ministry called 24:14 is tracking such movements and at the publishing of this podcast is monitoring more that 1,369 such movements among Unreached Peoples. Thanks again to Steve Addison at movements.net for this great interview. For many of you this may be the first time you have heard of a podcast.
