"Movements: Innovative Tools and Strategies to Enhance Movements", part 1 continues our series on one of the most exciting topics in missions today, Movements. In this episode Curtis Sargent shares about new and innovative strategies such as "Media2Movements" which is a social media based initiative which seeks to use online tools to discover 'persons of peace'. Curtis discusses successful online training courses such as Kingdom.training and Zume.training both of which are free and focused on DMM outcomes. “Church Planting Movements” or “Disciple Making Movements” are phrases that describe a multiplying movement of churches which result in exponential church growth. The basic requirement to qualifying as a CPM or DMM is that your churches have multiplied themselves to the fourth generation or more (The first church births a new church, that church then births a new church, and so on). A new ministry called 24:14 is tracking such movements and at the publishing of this podcast is monitoring more that 1,369 such movements among Unreached Peoples.
