Next up.... Cecilia de Fatima dos Santos is a multidisciplinary artist from Oporto City in Portugal. She is known mostly for her documentary photography and for her surrealist , chaotic performer alter ego, Mc Sissi. What to say about the infamous DJ Uraino & Mc Sissi performances that rocked Oporto for a few years prior to Covid shite?? absolute chaos, good vibes, slapstick, bangin tunes. It has to be seen to be be realised / 210667226529221 • Dj Urânio & Mc Sissi - Eurotika! Maus... • DJ Urânio e MC Sissi Extended Trailer Her photography work can be seen via her social media pages An her most recent exhibition documenting Portuguese emigrant culture can be visited in Oporto until November 4th 2024 Last year Mc Sissi & Gnod did a bunch of off the cuff recordings together which have been brought to life as the album INNER FUCKING PEACE , soon to be released on Rocket Recordings. Her impact upon the process of making the album can not be overstated. Her stream of conciousness vocals, menstrual blood painting for the front cover and album title alone are a work of art. Sissi is honest, up front and no bullshit as you will hear in this chat. Shes got a lot of stories to tell so there will definitely be a part 2. We thought it a good idea to put this up to coincide with the album so people can get to know a little of her story.
