INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Wednesday, May 13, 2026 Topic: GO FORWARD (Part 3)! Memory Verse: "Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward" - Deuteronomy 2:3 KJV Bible Text: Exodus 14:15 KJV 15. And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: INSPIRATION: God is touched by what and how we feel (Heb. 4: 15). So when He tells you to go forward or to move on, He's not being emotionless or unconcerned about your plight. Rather, He's offering you the best prescription for your heart and entire wellbeing. The emotional torture and endless trauma of building monuments around your pain is what He's trying to make you see and save you from. Staying pained leaves you drained and defeated always. Stop investing emotionally in things that are dead (Luke 24:5). Invest time, energy and resources in developing character traits that make for a better living, greater access to opportunities and victory life. Gratify yourself with self-empowering actions that challenge your statusquo. Crying instead of acting would leave you at the mercy of what seeks to destroy you; and until you take a dive, your parachute would never activate to get you to a safe landing. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: The bigger picture can only be seen on the other side of a positive action. Go forward! PRAYER: Dear Lord, I refused to be caught between opinions whether to move forward or stay buried in despair. My spirit is liberated from the stagnant grip of my past failures; my heart receives light to move on from every failed dream, plan or investment. I'm a recipient of divine grace and a greater future awaits me as I take bold steps in faith to move forward, in Jesus name.
