“Go, go, go”: Meditation Alone Won’t Save You From Burnout

from PowerToFly · host Nicole Felter

It had been a while since I felt joy or a great passion to do anything. I would wake up, unwillingly open my laptop for work but even at the end of the day, I could get almost nothing done. I tried meditation and exercise but after a moment of calm, it all came back. I tried being positive, grateful and tried living in the moment. Not being able to do any of this successfully, I felt guilty of being an ungrateful wretch only to realize my problem was much bigger than this and meditation alone would not save me. Having realized this, I focused on understanding the underbelly of hustle culture and why it inevitably leads to burn out. With this session, we want you to walk out with, Understanding how to set an actual work-life integration. Actionable points to help develop an inclusive work culture that focuses on belonging. Reaching a nexus between self-care and community care.
