GOALD- Tried By Fire

Today we had our second guest and first international guest: Cody Byrns. Cody's team connected with us due to our similar interest and after a virtual meeting, we both thought it would be awesome to share our stories on each other's podcasts. Therefore I couldn't think of a better way to conclude our series GOALD. Today we get to have a talk with a man of God who has literally been tried by Fire. In 2013, Cody experienced a terrible car accident where he was considered dead until first responders saw his hand move. He had multiple injuries and 40% of his body was completely burned, after years of surgeries and rehabilitation Cody chose to transform his experience to help others maximize their potential by finding a sense of purpose and accomplishment. Today we dive a little deeper into Cody's story where he shares how he overcame insecurities, how his faith served as a foundation when his world came crashing down and how his community and FAITH in God helped him to overcome. Cody drops so many nuggets of wisdom in this episode, but the one we definitely had to share was the acronym for EPIC!
