Goals and Projects Episode 2

On our second episode I talk about the ideas i have for this podcast. Capoeira! We will be talking about its history, legends mysteries and how capoeira managed in a short space of time go from something that was ilegal in Brazil to become the countries biggest cultural export. The individual that played a big role on Capoeira recent history and the newer generation that are carrying on the capoeira work. A little about our group and the influence it had in many aspect of Capoeira. Finally I talk about our recent project Capoeira Solidaria and give it a little update on it. In the end I share with you a nice live recording during mestre's banana event in Paris last year with Mestre Itamar(www.capoeirasenzala.net) singing. This year in the last weekend of April Mestre Banana will be celebrating 20 years of his work in France. There will be so many guests that if you haven't been able to be in Brazil recently, Brazil will be descending in Paris for 3 days. It will be that good!
