Vs 5-8 Human beings and human institutions exist to fulfill God’s purposes, and they live and die according to His calendar. Vs 9-14 God causes all things to work together for the good of His people, even evil things that He hates. Vs 15-18 We cannot accurately understand events on earth, unless we view them through the lens of God’s eternal word. Vs 19-25 Bad News: Satan and his people always oppose God’s plans and God’s people. Good News: God’s kingdom is unstoppable. Additional Verses: Isaiah 44:28 Daniel 2, Daniel 7, Most of Daniel chapter 2 and all of chapters 3-7 are written in Aramaic, the language of the Gentile empires, and the content is focused on Gentiles. Daniel chapter 1-2:4a and all of chapters 8-12 are written in Hebrew, and the content pertains to Israel
