God Broke In

from Briarwood Church Hosted by Jamisen Hancock

Christmas is not about people finding God — it is about God breaking in to find us. In this Christmas message, Pastor Jamisen Hancock takes us to Luke 2 and the story of the shepherds to show us four truths about how God still breaks in today: he breaks into ordinary places, he uses unexpected people, he brings unstoppable hope, and he breaks into our lives when we open our hearts to him. The shepherds were not searching, praying, or prepared — they were simply doing their jobs in the dark. But heaven broke in anyway. That is the message of Christmas. Not a feeling, not a tradition, not nostalgia — but an invasion of hope. The same God who broke into Bethlehem is still breaking into fields of worry, loneliness, and brokenness today.
