We must change our mindsets and hearts to reflect this truth, recognizing that God has always existed. This understanding can shape the views we have of ourselves and our purpose in life. “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.” John 16:13“What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.” A.W. TozerPeople often have distorted views of God, oversimplifying or exaggerating certain characteristics. The attributes of God are things that are true about Him. Understanding God's attributes, such as His omnipresence, sovereignty, and immutability, impacts our relationship with Him. We can only better understand God’s attributes when we seek to know Him more. God has revealed himself to us and we can learn more about Him. Connecting faith and life is seeking to know God better and living to please Him as much as possible and understanding His constant presence. A.W. Tozer's book "The Knowledge of the Holy" highlights the importance of elevating and purifying our thoughts of God, as well as magnifying our view of Him.
