God Chose Her (2Chron 34.15-28) - 3-27-22

from Messages from the Word of God · host Nwankwo via Apogee

Scripture Texts are 2 Chronicles 34.15-28 and Luke 2.36-38. Today’s subject is “God Chose Her.”Some believe in female leadership but only if they lead other females and children. And some believe that God does not call females to become ordained clergy leaders. Let’s address this as we examine Huldah today.1.We know God chose her because the king’s people were led to her. (2Chr 34.20-22)2.We know God chose her because of her relationship with the LORD. (2Chr 34.23)3.We know God chose her because she spoke truth to power. (2Chr 34.24-28)As we reflect on Women’s History month, think about Huldah. We know God chose her because King Josiah’s, who God had chosen, people were led to her. We know God chose her because of her relationship with the LORD. And finally, we know God chose her because she spoke truth to power regardless of the possible consequences. This message today was specifically given for all of us in general but for someone in particular. God has chosen you. I do not know the specific task. But the LORD is saying solidify your relationship with Him. He will tell you what to say and what to do. Your job is to… just do it. And when they come to you, whoever “they” are, please be courageous enough to speak truth to power. Tell those in charge what they need to hear instead of what they want to hear. Huldah did just that because God chose her. You too can do just that because God chose you! God chose YOU! Amen.
