God Collects Your Tears – You Are Not Weak

from Quiet In The Night · host Bill Scott

God Collects Your Tears – You Are Not Weak Tears are not a sign of weakness—they're evidence of a tender heart that feels deeply. In Psalm 56:8, David says, "You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book."What a beautiful reminder that God sees every tear you cry—and not one falls unnoticed. You may feel weary, broken, or like you should be "stronger" by now. But strength in God's eyes doesn't always look like smiling through the pain. Sometimes, true strength is found in falling apart in His presence and allowing Him to hold the pieces. Jesus Himself wept (John 11:35). He was moved by grief, compassion, and love. Your Savior understands your tears—and He doesn't ask you to hide them. He welcomes them, gathers them, and meets you in your sorrow. You are not weak because you cry. You are human. And more than that, you are beloved. Let your tears fall into the hands of the One who treasures them. He is near to the brokenhearted and promises to heal every wound. You are not falling apart—you are falling into grace. And God is holding you through it all.
