from Inspired Word Of God · host Marsha Singleton
Php 2:1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,Php 2:2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.Php 2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.Php 2:4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.Php 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:Php 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:Php 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:Php 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.Php 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:Php 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;Php 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.Philippians 2:1-11 NLTPhilippians 2:1 Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? Philippians 2:2 Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose. Philippians 2:3 Don't be selfish; don't try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Philippians 2:4 Don't look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. Philippians 2:5 You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Philippians 2:6 Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Philippians 2: 7 Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, Philippians 2:8 he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal's death on a cross. Philippians 2:9 Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, Philippians 2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, Philippians 2:11 and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.Song: King Jesus Will Roll All Your Burdens Awayby Kenneth Morris 1947Pianist: Late Mrs. Loretta RaySinger: Marsha SingletonSong: "This Little Light of Mine" Reference Credits:Edward G.
