God - Do

Today’s Scripture is taken from John 4:50. Jesus said to him, ‘Go; your son lives.’ The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and started off.” As Andy, in the movie Shawshank Redemption, would say, “Get busy living or get busy dying!” I would say, “Get busy trusting or get busy dying!” Either way, “get busy”. Jesus said the same thing a little differently, “I wish that you were cold or hot.” In short, we are to be passionate. This means that we can own a thing to the point that we can contend for it. We are passionate about gaining and keeping Christ. I have no passion but Yours, Lord. Your desire is mine. I embrace the vigor of Your program and process. I embrace You embracing me. I nurture those You have purchased and keep for Your glory. You do all these things.
