"God doesn’t make mistakes": Chris talks about coming out as gay aged 54

Chris Smith is a retired laboratory technician. He grew up in a religious family, married a woman and had three children. He always knew he was gay and, after losing his wife, joined the community and eventually found love with a man. Chris talks about faith, family, love and self-acceptance.Joining the LGBTQ+ community later in life can feel daunting.
