God Gives the True Desires of Your Heart

Today's Promise: Psalm 37:4 What does it really mean when the Bible says that God will give you the desires of your heart? At first glance, this promise can sound like a blank check from heaven. Just delight yourself in God, and He will give you whatever you want. But there is something much deeper happening in this promise.   When you delight in the Lord, your heart begins to change. Your focus shifts from what you want God to give you to who God is. You begin to trust Him as your source and provider. And as you trust Him, your desires begin to line up with His desires.   The things we think will make us happy, like more money, a new house, a better job, or more possessions, can never satisfy the deepest desires of our hearts. True peace, joy, meaning, love, and fulfillment are found in our relationship with God.
