Jesus did not bring about the kind of change that had hoped for or expected. Yet they knew something even bigger was happening. Jesus was raised from the dead and had appeared. They didn’t know what it meant for them. But they knew it would be something big.They stayed together while they were waiting. They continued fish as they normally did. After a long night of failure, they followed the advice of a stranger who was actually Jesus, and came back with a massive haul of fish. When they got back to shore, they recognized Jesus. Jesus had already prepared a meal for them. God is with us in our success and failure, in our good times and our bad times. When we get back to shore, tired and exhausted, we find that God has already prepared a meal for us. So keep going. Never give up. I’m Horace McMillon. This is 60 Seconds of Hope.
