While that line from the old Hymn is true, it’s not the only reason we face difficulty! We’ve just begun a study in Hebrews with a theme of Jesus being so much better than religion. He’s the substance as opposed to the shadow. He reveals what God has for us. And if we’ll hear and heed His Word, it will save us a great deal of pain and heartache.
