"God Hears Our Cries"

April 28, 2024   Daily Devotion:   "God Hears Our Cries" Genesis 30:22-24 New International Version   22 Then God remembered Rachel; he listened to her and enabled her to conceive. 23 She became pregnant and gave birth to a son and said, “God has taken away my disgrace.” 24 She named him Joseph, [a] and said, “May the Lord add to me another son.”   God hears our cries, too. Even when we think our way or our timing is best. Even when we act out of fear instead of faith. God has a purpose for our lives, and our attempts at shortcuts and detours will not derail what He has planned. Let us humble ourselves under the hand of the One who hears our cries, handing all our worries over to Him, trusting in His timing and His answer.
