God in Control 2: How to have Power with God - Daniel 2

I wanna talk today about how to have power with God. Power generally is a very desirable thing here on Earth. People scramble after it. And we need it because we feel weakness and dependence in practically everything we do. We need power from God. But power is a tricky thing because as much as people hanker after power it can be very destructive. We see it in the news, reminders of the destructive nature of power. So the world is intent on pursuing greatness and power and we find it in our own hearts - not enough to have a great job and satisfying work. We want to be at the top of the heap. One of the delightful things about children (usually) is how they play together unbothered with figuring out who's at the top of the heap. But there's something in our hearts that desires to be more than we were created to be and that's the destructive nature of power. But we need power from God and God gives us his power in our need.
