God in Control 8: Finding Hope Against a Dark Backdrop - Daniel 8

I wonder what you'd say if you were given the opportunity to see the coming years of the future of the world, right to the very end in detail. I think most of us would probably say "no thanks", a natural reaction. Many folks conjecture about days to come, but there's only one that knows. That's God. And though we're reticent to go down that path, God wants us to know, and he shares his secrets with us and brings us into his council on many things. We're walking through the book of Daniel and as we do God gives wisdom and strength to us to even think about that, so it's good for our hearts to be open to it. The theme of the book of Daniel all the way through, both in the incredible stories of the first six chapters and even in the more complex last six chapters, is always that God is in control.
