God in the Aspect of Mother

God as Divine Mother – feeling close to God as Her childGod can be visualized as having a form. First, we need to think in terms of God with a form to be able to reach the realization of God in a formless state. God is neither male or female. God is not literally a mother but an aspect of consciousness.Yogananda said, ‘thoughts are universally, not individually rooted.’Depending what level of consciousness you are on, that kind of consciousness will manifest itself through your thoughts.To realize who we really are, we need to go beyond the ego. The ego is our friend or our foe, depending on how we use it.You suffer when you hate, but you are happy when you love. Therefore, strictly in your own self-interest – love! It’s very sensible.When you are in a giving mode, then you grow.We need to share our thoughts with someone, why not think of God and share? You will be relating to somebody who can’t possibly let you down. God is your own self.What happens when you limit your sensitivity to others? You become smaller and smaller and you suffer. Try to expand your sensitivity to realize that your little ego has the same center that is in all people and in every atom. We are one with all.Divine Mother loves you, is on your side and will not judge you no matter what you do. She’s your friend and will forgive and uplift you always.Intuition is soul knowledge.If it weren’t for our feeling aspect, we would not have understanding. Reason by itself is an inadequate tool. Reason can show you 100 directions to go in, and they all make good sense. What is it that tells you this is the direction to go? Feeling!We can see a need in human evolution to express feminine energy. You can think more of God as the Mother, who expresses calmness and forgiveness.Don’t accept failure as a definition.
