God is First

Family, career, people, hobbies—what is most important to us in life? What comes first? The Christian says God comes first. The first Q&A of the Baptist Catechism explicitly says, “God is the first and chiefest being.” What does it mean to say God is “first”? What are the implications for us who understand this truth?
