God is Good No Matter What Happens

When suffering makes God seem absent, His goodness can feel impossible to trust. Lamentations does not hide that pain. Amid Jerusalem’s ruin after her disobedience, Jeremiah finds hope in God’s unchanging love, unfailing compassion and faithfulness to His warnings and promises. Waiting is not passive endurance, though some may not see salvation in this life.
