God Is Listening

I remember years ago walking the beat as a young police officer. One day, I stepped into a church and sat quietly in the back row. I took off my hat, and out loud I said, “God, if You are real, I wouldn’t mind knowing who You are.” Now, it wasn’t much of a prayer, but it was sincere. It wasn’t just a question, it was a cry from my heart. And thank God, He answered me. Not long after that, someone came and told me exactly who God is and how I could get to know Him. The Scripture tells us that “the heavens declare the glory of God” (Psalm 19:1), and if anyone truly seeks Him, He will reveal Himself. One day, every soul will give an account of what they did with that revelation. If your heart is crying out today like mine once did, just ask God to show you who He is and what plan He has for your life. God is listening to you. Talk to Him today. It’s time to pray.
