Most of us do not like to fight and we probably work pretty hard to keep the peace. Certainly no one want wants to see their home country go to war! But no matter how peace loving the nation is there are enemies out there seeking to attack and destroy. The same is true in the Christian life. We may seek peace and avoid conflict, but we have enemies out there that seek to attack and destroy us. The Bible names three enemies - worldly thinking, sin, and the devil. Like it or not, they intend to destroy us.
