God is never early, never late, but always right on time.

from Faith for Everyday · host Edwine Mbuzaa

Send us Fan MailDivine timing often feels like a paradox. We understand it intellectually, yet emotionally we struggle when life doesn't unfold according to our carefully constructed timelines. Drawing from Ecclesiastes 3:1, today's reflection explores the sacred and often challenging space of waiting on God's perfect timing. Why do we feel such discomfort when forced to wait? Perhaps it's because waiting reveals our limited control and challenges our trust. Yet throughout scripture, we encounter powerful examples of faithful waiting that yielded extraordinary outcomes. Abraham and Sarah's decades-long wait for a promised child. Joseph's years of imprisonment before his divine promotion. Even Jesus waited thirty years before beginning his public ministry. These weren't divine delays but divine development—preparing each person for purposes greater than they could imagine. The waiting season you're experiencing right now isn't a mistake or divine punishment. Whether you're waiting for healing, restoration in a relationship, career breakthrough, or clarity about your next steps, this time has purpose. As Habakkuk 2:3 reminds us, "For the vision is yet for an appointed time... though it tarry, wait for it because it will surely come." God's timing aligns with His greater plan—not just for you individually, but for His kingdom purposes that extend far beyond what we can see.Today, I invite you to shift your perspective on waiting. Instead of viewing it as wasted time, recognize it as transformative time. Rather than striving, surrender. Instead of worrying, worship. Instead of doubting, declare your trust in His perfect plan. Remember that God is never early, never late, but always precisely on time. What areas of your life might benefit from releasing your timeline and embracing His? I'd love to hear your reflections on waiting well.
