God Love Me
from Be Encouraged
“And then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ’; or, ‘Behold, He is there’; do not believe him;” (Mark 13:21) There is no new Christ on the horizon. To choose another Christ is to be an anti-Christ. Receiving the Christ of history is as hard for us today as it was for the people of His day to receive Him as the One prophesied. God has promised we will all see Him. We are not to go here or there to see Him. When He returns, every eye will see Him. We will all declare, at His feet, He is the Christ. Not some new person or AI. Hug this thought instead; “God loves ME!” Thank You, Lord; 49 years ago, I cried out with my doubts, saying, “Jesus, if You are there, You can have me. But here is the deal: if You want to change me, go for it. I quit trying to change myself.” You went to work, and it has worked. I have changed. You haven’t.
