God Loves a Cheerful Giver | Deric Bartlett | 03-01-2026

On this Sunday, Pastor Deric preached from 2 Corinthians 9:7, “God Loves a Cheerful Giver.”  We were reminded that biblical generosity flows from a heart shaped by grace, not pressure or compulsion. A cheerful giver is motivated by love for Christ, exercises wisdom in stewardship, rests in the blessing of obedience, and walks in faithfulness before the Lord.  Because God has given us His indescribable gift in Christ, our giving becomes a joyful response to His grace. True generosity is not measured merely by amount, but by a heart transformed by the gospel.  Sermon Notes:1.
