God Moves Into Action

What are you waiting for? The prophet Zechariah and his wife Elizabeth waited many years for God to bless them with a child. During a time of service in the temple an angel appeared to Zechariah and told him that God heard his prayers and that his wife Elizabeth would bear him a son and they were to name him John. The name John means, "God is gracious." We all face times of waiting or trial and may wonder when God will respond, but we need to be reminded that God is always faithful and remembers his covenant.
