A lot of our thinking is held together by short, sticky statements that help us make sense of things. We repeat them, post them, and pass them along. Sure, they may be clichés, but they’re also strangely comforting. And because they’re so common and popular, we assume they’re from Scripture. But are they though? What if some of these sayings we keep repeating are based on a misunderstanding or a misinterpretation? What if… God Never Said That?
