God of Care, Pt. 2

This week’s sermon brings our two part Mother's Day & Father's Day message to a close. Pastor Pedro elaborates on the idea that the God of the Bible is a God who provides true care for our souls. God knows our exact emotional, physical, and spiritual state at any given moment and, if we allow Him to, He will bind up every one of our wounds. In 1 Kings 19, we witness how God allows Elijah to rest and then gives Him righteous instructions. In Elijah’s story, we encounter God, who is able to, not only give us rest but, empower us for His mission at the same time.
