God said to me: ”People of the world want to be free to sin. Born again people want to be free from sin.”

Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    Psalm 111:10  The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: HIS praise endureth for ever.   💥💥💥   I once asked a woman who was raised in the Baptist church, "Didn't you ever have a fear of God?"   She replied, "No I haven't."   Somehow I've always known that to go in the way of the Word of God is a good thing and it would be fearful for me to go opposite to the direction told me by God.   This is a "fear of the Lord" ... a fear of the Word of God.   Jesus HIMSELF is "The Word."   Proverbs 4   18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.   19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.   20 My son, attend to MY words; incline thine ear unto MY sayings.   21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.   22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.   💥💥💥   A woman in our church group once told me her adult age son said, "The Bible is so legalistic."   This really troubled me, I told God.   Later God said to me: "People of the world want to be free to sin.  People of God want to be free from sin."   The Bible, the Word of God, is freedom from sin when we live by those scriptures!   Psalm 111:10    The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do HIS commandments: HIS praise endureth for ever.   💥💥💥💥💥   * For writings on additional subjects, click here:  Jesus Ministries Exhortations Blog
