What exactly is love, specifically God’s love? We are to love each other with this very same love - how is it possible for us to love others this way? Love seems to have all kinds of definitions and meanings in modern thought. John says that the only people who can love are those who know God (have been saved). So, Agape love that the Bible talks about is a very specific and narrowly defined kind of love. You could say it is “God love”. But, what exactly is “God love”? This kind of love is not natural, as it is only possible for those who know God, so How do we do what the Bible commands - love God and love our neighbor with this kind of love?
