God the Provider

Five loaves and two fish cannot feed more than 5,000 people. Yet Jesus gives thanks, breaks the food, and everyone eats until satisfied, with twelve baskets left over. This abundant meal points beyond immediate hunger to God's promised feast, where the Messiah defeats death and welcomes needy people who cannot pay.
