God Trains You Like a Good Father

Today's Promise: Proverbs 3:11-12 Many people think that God's discipline is God punishing His children. Every problem they encounter is seen as God's judgment. When something terrible happens, their first thought is that God is punishing them. They don't see God as the loving Father who desires the best for them. This verse is more about training than punishment. God is always working in your life for your good. God allows various trials in your life to build your faith and trust in Him. As your faith is tested, it grows and develops.
