NOTE ON TODAY'S RECORDING: We experienced a temporary service outage that interrupted audio recording at the beginning. The missing audio is as follows, "May the God of Peace, who has taught us that in returning and rest we shall be saved, in quietness and in confidence HE shall be our strength: By the might of thy Spirit lift us, we pray, to your presence, where we may be still and know that you are God; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.   Good morning! I am Chrissie Coombs, and I lead our Children’s Ministry program. We are blessed to have a wonderful team of adult and youth volunteers sharing their knowledge of Christ with our children. And actually, right now, I’m pretending y’all are a bunch of seven year olds. Every week I am strengthened in my witness, that indeed, God is with Us.  Realizing when the Holy Spirit’s been at work to influence ideas and lesson planning is one of my favorite things ever. I am sharing a testimony today that is one of trust & confidence in God – in His love, in His providence, and in His plans for our lives.  Today’s Psalm begins with a truth that really speaks to my heart: I lift up my eyes to the hills; from where is my help to come? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth. I had a profound experience in a season of great loss, which proved my faith immeasurably.  My husband Mike and I have four wonderful children who are now adults. We also have a daughter in heaven."-----Interested in hearing our sermons in real time?
