As His public ministry unfolded, Jesus came under fire primarily for three reasons: 1) He kept doing things in violation of the “Traditions of the Elders.” 2) Jesus came to interact with “sinners.” 3) Jesus made claims that, to the Pharisees, were blasphemous.
