Godly Greatness

from Foothills Alliance Church | Audio Hosted by Foothills Alliance Church

Kingdom Living - Matthew 20:17-28: I asked some of the leading AI software to summarize the most common paths to greatness. They returned phrases like "innovation and creativity", "leadership and influence", "mastery of a skill", "overcoming adversity", "hard work", "continuous learning and growth" and so much more that has to do with bettering oneself. Yet, through the life and teachings of Jesus we discover that Godly Greatness is the inverse - it's about humility, sacrifice and servanthood that puts others first. This Sunday we'll explore a story about two of Jesus' first and closest followers who thought they had the makings of greatness, but ended up needing a change of ambition, appreciation and action.
