GODS AND SONS OF GOD, Chapter 14 page 132 of Mysteries of Creation by Ogden Kraut.    “Gods Many and Lords Many” Generally speaking, today’s Christian believes there is only one God in all the universe. Yet many passages of scripture infer that there are others. Surely this must be one of the mysteries of creation, because in the first chapter of the Bible it reads, “Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness.” (Gen. 1:26) Then after the tree of good and evil was planted in the garden, one of the greatest promises in the Bible was given when the serpent said, “God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” (Gen. 3:4-5) There was truth to that because after they ate of that tree, “the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil….” (Gen. 3:22)
