God's Army

What does it mean for the church to be God’s army?In the final message of our Church series, we explore Ephesians 6:10–18 and Paul’s call to put on the full armour of God. Jesus has already defeated sin and death, so we are not fighting to earn victory—we stand together and proclaim the victory He has already won.This message considers the reality of spiritual warfare, the strength we receive from God, and the armour He gives us: truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation and the Word of God. We also discover why prayer is not passive, but a powerful way to stand firm, take ground and remain connected to our Commander.The church was never meant to fight alone. United in Christ, equipped by His Word and empowered by His Spirit, we are stronger together.
