God's Character - God is Loving

John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.With apologies to Beauty and the Beast, "For God so loved the world..." is truly a tale as old as time. When we think of the character of God and focus on His love, this is the verse that both summarizes and defines the extent of God's love for mankind... for each of us individually as well.----------This Sunday, we start our latest mini-series within the series on the book of John, as we turn our attention to the Character of God illustrated throughout this Gospel.----------The full extent of God's love is not simply meant to be admired from a distance, but embraced as the gift it truly is but also as the example it sets for how we should treat and view others around us.
