Even after a bad week, God's children do not lose their place in His family. Jesus gives people the right to become God's children, so assurance rests on belonging rather than changing behaviour. They know the Father's love by faith now. When Jesus appears, they will see Him face to face, become like Him, and find the complete satisfaction that nothing temporary can provide.
