GOD’S HARVEST IS PLENTY

from The Kingdom Of God First Podcast. · host Tewe Kolade Felix

Scripture: “Then he said to his disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the labourers are few.’” – Matthew 9:37 Devotional Message: When Jesus looked at the crowds, He didn’t just see people; He saw souls in need of hope, healing, and salvation. He saw a great harvest—multitudes ready to receive God’s love. The same is true today. All around us are opportunities to shine God’s light, speak His truth, and bring His love to broken hearts. The problem has never been the size of the harvest; it has always been the willingness of labourers. God is constantly at work, drawing hearts, opening doors, and preparing lives. He simply invites us to join Him in the field—to pray, serve, encourage, witness, and love intentionally. You may feel unqualified or small, but God doesn’t call labourers based on perfection. He calls those who are willing. One conversation, one prayer, one act of kindness can shift someone’s eternity. The harvest is vast, but heaven moves when just one person says, “Here am I, Lord—use me.” God has a place for you in His work. Your voice matters. Your hands matter. Your obedience matters. Step into the field with faith, knowing the Lord of the harvest goes with you. Today, Ask Yourself: Am I available for God to use me today to reach someone who needs His love? Prayer: Lord, open my eyes to the harvest around me. Give me compassion, boldness, and willingness to be used by You. Make me a faithful laborer in Your kingdom. Amen.
